Would You like to enjoy sitting down to work?
- Do you want to feel more energized throughout the day, and at the end of the day?
- Could you use more satisfaction with the work you’ve completed?
- Would you like to have more time for life outside of work?
Instead, DO you feel like you are always working and never have time to rest?
Do you find yourself with thoughts like these? - “I dread my day, I am stressed and have way too much to do.” Or when you sit down to get some work done, do you have voices that say - “I hate email, I don’t have enough time, I can’t focus, or other people are unreliable.”? At the end of the day when you’re finally putting your work down, do you think - “I am exhausted, I didn’t get it all done, or I procrastinated again on this really important task.”?
We've all been there.
I was a total mess. I had a hard time being my own boss. I spent years where I would go through spurts of being hard on myself and then being really lax on myself. Finally, in 2009, I started working with a productivity coach. Eventually, we developed a system together and I started coaching others. I essentially became a productivity black belt as I helped others with their own productivity.
I developed Playfully Productive to train people quickly and profoundly. It’s a 6 week game that will completely transform your life. In this game, you will:
I developed Playfully Productive to train people quickly and profoundly. It’s a 6 week game that will completely transform your life. In this game, you will:
- feel energized throughout the day, and at the end of the day.
- feel satisfied with the work you’ve completed.
- feel confident you’ll get it done.
- have a more realistic idea of how long it takes to accomplish tasks.
- look forward to your day.
- have time for life outside of work.
- feel confident making tough choices about priorities.
This system changed my life.
Before Playfully Productive, I used to not look at email for 2 months. I ignored my inbox and the problem was that when I finally responded, it was too late - the relationship was now gone. Now I’m on top of my email everyday. It’s easy to do and I feel great doing it and people count on me to respond.
I am accountable to a game, instead of a boss. It feels like playing- it’s light, friendly accountability. I have a sense of flow when I’m working. I never question if i will be distracted by other things. I trust I can put other things aside to focus, which means I'm free from worrying about the next thing, which feels awesome (You can feel awesome too).

The games
We will learn through playing 3 games over the 6 weeks. Each game comes with specially designed challenges for you to put the material immediately into practice. You will also have a coach to help you integrate it into your life.
1. The Action Game
The Action Game is about focus, and it is the foundation for Playfully Productive. It’s the missing link that makes all productivity systems fail or underachieve. If the only thing you got out of the program is the ability to create a sacred container of 25 minutes and be able to focus in that container, that would be well worth it.
2. The Planning Game
The Planning Game is about what you do with Actions. If the Action Game is about execution, the Planning Game is about strategy. It is also the key to balancing your life, making sure you don’t ignore certain areas like play or exercise or meditation or a particular project.
3. The Integrity Game
The Integrity Game is about working well with others. It includes tools to measure and encourage integrity, and also addresses responsible renegotiation. At the most basic level, it’s about balancing your commitments to others with your commitments to yourself: most people overvalue one or the other. This happens through communication in e-mail, promises and meetings.

What others have said:
Past players have been blown away by the impact of these games. Some are getting things done 2-4 times faster. Others are impressed with their new-found ability to focus. "It seals off the exits. Instead of accepting any excuse to stop working when I reach emotionally or intellectually difficult points, I stay focused and experience breakthroughs." "I can take on anything, no matter how hard, because it's just 25 minutes."
Actually completing commitments
I was never good at homework when I was a kid, I was just notoriously bad at commitment in general. I didn’t think that this was a skill that could be developed, something that could be upgraded, I thought that’s just who I was. And then, doing these kind of easy commitments… What you ask us to do in this course is doable. Even for someone like me, who was never good at doing homework, I was able to easily integrate these baby-step commitments into my life. And then, all of a sudden I found myself addressing commitments I had been making, and actually completing them.

I can actually rest!
Wanted to thank you for one of the most productive evenings in a good long while. Turns out I did need and have something to learn from the Action Game. Oh! I’m also feeling like I got enough done that I can actually REST/PLAY tonight! That’s perhaps the best gift of all, and not one I expected. I made real, concrete, itemizable progress.

This has been a godsend!
This has been a Godsend! I had all this stuff floating, ambiguous, I needed to earn money. I was about to just shut down, sleeping a lot. Actions allowed me to just go and helped me break through the resistance, because it’s just 25 minutes, just get in there and see what happens. They allowed me to get going on some things I’ve been meaning to do for weeks, that had just been floating. And the big difference is, I feel better all day. I feel better. With coding, I get into this, we call it coding samadhi… it’s a different state but it doesn’t feel good, brain resonance focusing on coding. With Actions, I break it up into chunks, it helps me stay balanced. Still focused but not zombie-like.

I felt flow.
Not sure if meditation has something to do with this – but ‘eh! I am getting some interesting things arising as to my connections with ideas around time, some of which have been limiting not only productivity but my view of the world. Very grateful for these insights. My [working] session went really well. No interruptions and got my blog done in 25 minutes. A first! Rather than pressure, I felt flow. I started in a prepared yet open state and it just happened. It felt like a really beautiful mix of action and surrender.
